Double Room with Own Bathroom

The room

This room is in a refurbished house approximately 5 -8 minute walk from Balham Tube and Overground. Whilst it is in zone 3 (a 15-20 minute walk will get you to Clapham South a zone 2 tube). It is extremely well connected via the Northern line and overland services into the West End, London Bridge and the City. Waitrose, Sainsbury's and a plethora of coffee shops and restaurants are a 10 minute walk away. Barbara the current occupant has bought her own place and is moving on after 3-4 years here.

The room itself is a spacious 11 by 13 feet (approx) with built in wardrobes and a set of drawers.. The bed is an Ottoman so extra storage is available under the mattress. I have ticked the ensuite box as you do have your own bathroom with a walk in shower, sink and toilet but if you are going to be particular there is a probable 40-50 cm walk between the two! The pictures show a desk that is going with the current occupant but everything else is included in the room. I do have a desk if needed.

I am the live in owner and you will also be sharing with Matt who is in his early 20's and works in marketing and myself the 52 year old live in landlord.

A little about me. Since moving here in 2018 I have been seting up my own business in the health industry and am currently working partly from home.! I have put a minimum age of 30 but as my last housemate was in her 20's and we got on really well it is more about the person than the age.

The kitchen is well sorted with an American fridge freezer, range cooker and all the amenities one would expect in a kitchen . Bifold doors lead out to a south facing garden with a gas BBQ. There is a separate utility room.

I have two cats (Maude and Evie), so if you are deathly allergic to cats this might not be the place for you!

I use a one month rolling contract so if for whatever reason it does not work out you can escape with minimal commitment.
