The room has a comfortable large double bed, built-in wardrobes; a chest of drawers & bedside table.

The flat is light and airy with high ceilings. Includes bathroom (with bath and shower) and separate WC. Good sized, fully equipped kitchen with table and chairs. Plus large beautiful living room with a TV and large floor-to-ceiling bay windows with a side view of the sea. Also includes use of a shared garden.

3-minute walk to shops and buses.
10 min walk to Hove station
20 min bus to Brighton station
1-minute walk to the beach and Hove Lawns

Rent = £695 pcm including bills (except council tax)
Plus half of the council tax (band C) (as of 2024-2025 share is likely to be approximately £86.60 pcm)

I am a 32-year-old pastry chef, obviously I love cooking and also listening to 60’s and 70’s rock and roll. I enjoy going out for meals and cocktails. Also chilling with friends in front of a good movie, glass of wine, good company, food and board games. (Generally, PJs and wine win when I am debating going out or staying in, but welcome company).

I have 2 very cute and slightly mischievous cats, so looking for a fellow cat lover to come share our home. With the hope that whoever moves in might be happy to occasionally cat-sit if I go away, but this is by no means essential. I also have a rather large marine aquarium in the living room which always draws a lot of attention from guests.

I am looking for someone chilled to share this flat with me. Not a party house. While I like my own space, I am social and looking for someone like-minded. I am very relaxed about house stuff and hoping for someone equally chilled, while also reasonably clean. I currently share the costs of a cleaner with my current housemate who comes around once a fortnight, so am planning to continue this arrangement with whoever moves in. (I find this reduces stress around cleaning and makes for a nicer living environment for everyone). The cost of the cleaner is currently £56 per fortnightly visit (which works out to £28 per person every fortnight).
