Double room in friendly Headingley houseshare

Hi we're Jess, Ruth & Michaela and have a double room for rent from 1st July in our lovely and friendly house in Headingley/Meanwood area.

We have lived together for a year and are looking for someone to replace our current housemate who is moving out this summer. We all work full-time in marketing, research and social work and ideally would like another professional, mainly to keep council tax as cheap as possible!

We are a sociable house and are looking for someone who wants to become part of the house and join in with the odd house meal and night out, rather than just someone who wants a room. We're also clean and tidy so there aren't many arguments about cleaning!

The room is a good sized double and is furnished. The current tenant asked the landlord to take out the chest of drawers and desk but these can be put back in if you would like them. The house is over three floors and has a cellar which is great for storage. There is a large living room and a separate dining room and kitchen. The house is well decorated and has loads of character.

We are in a brilliant location, a 5-10 minute walk from the shops in Headingley and only a few minutes from the Waitrose/Aldi and pubs in Meanwood. The street is nice and quiet and close to a park. There is on-street parking available. It's also within easy walking distance to bus routes if you don't drive.

We already have bills set up and each pay £60 a month into a house account to cover all bills (Council tax, water, electric and gas, TV license, broadband) to make life easy.
