The name is Jen, me and my partner own two houses (one here and one in Manchester) - This one is my baby and is slowly being turned into the pad of my dreams! Therefore as you live here the decor will change, the gardens will grow beautiful and the basement will eventually become my artist studio (a long awaited dream!).

At the moment however, you will see that your room has been decorated to a very high standard, the bathroom has been adorned in red and the living room is a striking yellow colour.

You will be sharing with 3 lovely people, Mark, Sarah and jacob. Mark is a maintenance man at University Halls, Sarah is going into her final year in Animation at Leeds and Jacob is a newly qualified science teacher! All three are lovely and really down to earth! I am around when I can be doing the place up and making it nice - I usually visit once or twice a month but always text first to let everyone know.

There is a nice front garden and also a giant and overgrown garden out the back that I am offering as allotment space - if you want to use it you can, otherwise I will sort it out eventually. (I'm getting there but its a slow process haha)

The house would suit professionals of any age and/or mature students as it has great transport links to the centre and universities.

There is also ample on street parking.

I'm looking for someone who wants to share a home. I would prefer a non-smoker or at least someone who just smokes away from the house. I do not accept DSS due to unemployed people 'possibly' being in the house all of the time and running up large bills - not stereotyping just saying that I'm expecting people to be at work/university for a few hours everyday as the bills are all included worked out on this basis - when I have people who are home all of the time the usage on gas, electric and water goes up. If you are actively seeking work and out of the house for at least a few hours everyday then I'd be happy to talk - I know from my own experience at the moment jobs are hard to come by.

I am also ok with small pets if they stay inside your bedroom i. e. hampsters, gold fish, terrapins who are properly cared for (Jacob is bringing his snake - but he is small and lives in a tank in Jacobs room) - No pooches or cats at the moment I'm afraid!

Minimum term 6 months and then rolling 1-month contract with 1 month's notice needed. Payment on a monthly basis by standing order or cash preferred.
